Nico Dockx questions the notion of archives. For the Young Belgian Painters Award he develops (together with Helena Sidiropoulos) an installation with material from the archive of the Centre for Fine Arts. It's an installation which ask questions about memory and the history of the Centre for Fine Arts as well as the archive-notion itself.

"From the start, I've wanted to develop an interdisciplinar installation that worked as a sort of sensible intervention to the 'memory' of the Centre of Fine Arts. I used it 'plasticity' to create a projection of image-sequences." (N.D.)
